Sicklerville fire displaces 5 people; injures firefighter

SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (WTXF) - Firefighters in Gloucester Township were called to a residence on Del Sol Place in Sicklerville Saturday about 12:15 for a fire in a twin home. Firefighters saw fire and smoke coming from the residence as they arrived.

Everyone living in the residence was evacuated safely.

Crews were called from Lambs Terrace, Glendora, Chews Landing, Blackwood and others to help battle the fire.

One firefighter was injured while fighting to extinguish the fire.

The American Red Cross were called to help provide assistance to the five people displaced as a result of the fire.

Investigators have not determined a cause for the fire.
