State Trooper babysits 10-month-old baby after mother arrested for DUI

A Washington state trooper became a temporary babysitter after the mother of a baby boy was arrested for driving under the influence.

The mother was pulled over for speeding and failed a breathalyzer test on March 28.

Trooper C. Thorson of the Washington State Patrol shared an image of one of his colleagues entertaining the 10-month-old, who was sitting in his car seat with plush toys.

According to the post, his mother was pulled over and arrested after she was found to be three times over the legal alcohol limit. Her son was in the car with her.
