Striking Atlantic City casino workers are taking their protest to the New York City doorstep of the man who bought Trump Taj Mahal casino.
Local 54 of the Unite-HERE union will join other protesters on Wednesday outside the 5th Avenue office of Carl Icahn. They also plan to target presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The protesters say Icahn and Trump profited from the Taj Mahal even as it went through multiple bankruptcies.
About 1,000 union members from the food and beverage and housekeeping departments went on strike on July 1 after the union was unable to agree on a contract that restored health care and pension benefits that a bankruptcy judge terminated in 2014.
Dealers and security are not included in the walkout and Trump Taj Mahal remains open.
