Surveillance video shows man stealing van in Southampton Township

- The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public's assistance with identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a van in Southampton Township, Burlington County.

On Thursday, July 6, shortly before 4 a.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video in the parking lot of the Occupational Training Center on State Highway 38. According to police, the suspect is then seen in the video operating a hand truck that he used to load six catalytic converters from the property into a Ford Econoline van.
 
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., police say the suspect drove out of the lot in the stolen van. Later that morning, the van was recovered in Richard's Trailer Park in Southampton.
