Surveying Nor'easter damage in Montgomery County

A big boom in the night for the family inside a house on Old Eagle in the Fort Washington area with a tree resting on the garage.

It was joined by another tree on the driveway. Both were knocked down during the wild winds and pounding snow and rains of Friday, March 2nd's Nor'easter.

The same storm also yanking a tree out of the ground on Militia Hill, forcing Whitemarsh Township to shut down access at Joshua Road with barricades.

In Gladwyne, the scene near PA-23 and Waverly much the same across Montgomery County. A tree leveled at the roots, taking down a section of fence along with it.

Crews will be busy over the weekend removing damage and debris, especially where it contributed to power outages. Utility teams have their work cut out for them.
