Suspect to face charges for 2011 murder

A man wanted for a murder that took place more than five years ago is back in Delaware to face charges.

Wilmington police say Antione Anderson was extradited from Pennsylvania and turned over to officials at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institute.

Anderson, 31, was wanted in connection with the murder Ernie Cole, at 17th and Thatcher streets, back on Oct. 2, 2011.

Authorities report they got a warrant about a year later, but did not say when or where Anderson was captured.

He's charged with first-degree murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and aggravated menacing.

Anderson is being held on $1 million cash bail.
