Suspects arrested after chase on I-76

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Police released dash cam video of a wild police chase that came to an end on I-76 Tuesday afternoon. Police say 48-year-old Sherry Howard refused to pull over.

SkyFOX  was over the end of the chase that started at a Wendy’s in Tredyffrin Township.

Police say officers were investigating reports of people switching license plates on two vehicles in the parking lot.

According to police, Howard was driving one of the vehicles and she took off, driving east on the Schuylkill Expressway. Heavy traffic stopped her near the Belmont exit. Police say there were three people in the Suburban who were all taken into custody.

Police say they believe they are part of an identity theft ring. According to police, they found driver’s licenses and checks belonging to local identity theft victims in the Suburban.
