Tasker Street shooting leaves one in critical condition

Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in South Philadelphia that sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.

The incident occurred on the 1700 block of Tasker Street around 11:48 a.m.

A 25-year-old male was shot five times; once in the chest, twice in the abdomen, once in the leg, and once in the wrist.

He was transported to Jefferson Hospital in critical condition.

According to police, the shooter was in a white Chevy Impala or Mustang with a partial Pennsylvania tag reading: JMR.
