Teen sentenced in murder of man walking dog in Overbrook

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) A teen has been sentenced for his role in the murder of a man walking his dog in Overbrook last year.

Tyfine Hamilton reached a plea deal on third degree murder charges and faces 25-80 years, according to court records.

Police say in March of 2015, police responded to the 6400 block of Woodcrest Avenue for a call of a "Person with a Gun." When police arrived to the scene, they around 51-year-old James Patrick Stuhlman lying near the curbside with a gunshot wound to the upper right chest. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
