3 teens arrested in fatal Trenton shooting

Prosecutors have announced three arrests in connection with a shooting that killed a 58-year-old woman and wounded a 14-year-old girl in Trenton.

The shooting happened on October 6 at the intersection of Carver Lane and North Willow Street.

58-year-old Wilma Rutledge was pronounced dead at the hospital while the 14-year-old sustained non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, 18-year-old Zion Williams has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. Police say two 16 year olds were also taken into custody without incident and face the same charges. Their names are not being released because they are minors.
