Tennessee officer shot serving warrant, suspect found dead

The man suspected of shooting and wounding a Nashville, Tennessee, police officer has been found dead in a motel room.

Police tweeted they found the gunman who shot the officer inside a room at the Cumberland Inn on Tuesday morning, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police said the wounded officer, Terrance McBride, was shot after he and others knocked and entered the suspect's motel room to serve a warrant.
