This sick pup getting a pep talk is the sweetest thing you'll see all day

(STORYFUL) - A dog in Denver, Colorado, needed a pep talk from his owner after he was quarantined at the veterinarian due to an illness.

Marki Beth Nieporte shared a photo on Reddit of her and her dog, Crouton, in a sweet embrace. "Got quarantined at the vet and had to give Crouton a little pep talk that the other dogs DO wanna be his friend, he's just too sick to play with them right now," she posted.

Nieporte told Storyful that the 10-month-old Golden Retriever was being kept at the vet's office to administer fluids to prevent dehydration after the pup became ill. She said that Crouton has since come home and is slowly recovering.
