Three men arrested for possession of drugs and handgun during vehicle stop

Police have arrested three men who they say were in possession of drugs and weapons during a vehicle stop.

This stop occurred Wednesday around 9 p.m. when officers from New Castle County were patrolling the area around Alban Park. During their patrol the officers noticed a gray Chevrolet Impala driving without its headlights on.

The officers stopped the car and found the driver, 19-year-old Myles Stevenson to be in possession of marijuana. The front passenger of the vehicle, 19-year-old Kadeem Sadler, was also in possession of marijuana. The rear passenger, 20-year-old Dustin Dale, attempted to run from the officers but was quickly caught. During the struggle, a handgun was located in Kale's waist band.

All three men were taken back to New Castle County Headquarters and arrested. At the headquarters, officials found that Stevenson was also in possession of crack cocaine.

Stevenson was charged with misdemeanor, possession of a controlled substance among other related charges.

Sadler was charged with misdemeanor, possession of marijuana and other related charges.

Dale was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, misdemeanor resisting arrest and other related charges.
