Two men are dead and one is critical after two gunmen shoot into crowd in North Philadelphia

Two men are in dead and one man is in critical condition after two gunmen shot into a crowd of people in North Philadelphia.

Police responded to North Gratz Street and Susquehanna Avenue Thursday about 12:30 a.m. on the report of shots fired.

According to officials, two gunmen pulled up to a crowd standing outside and opened fire using 40 caliber weapons.

Police say three victims were struck. They found a 22-year-old man shot multiple times in the head, face and legs. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital. He died at the hospital late Thursday morning.

A 20-year-old man was shot in his abdomen and stomach. He was transported to Temple and succumbed to his injuries Thursday night.

A 39-year-old man was shot in the chest. He is listed in extremely critical condition at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
