Tractor-trailer accident, fuel spill slowing I-95 traffic

YARDLEY, Pa. (WTXF) - A tractor-trailer accident and fuel spill on I-95 in Bucks County is causing delays.

It happened on I-95 southbound just south of the Yardley exit, not far from New Hope and the Scudder Falls Bridge, at about 6am.

It involved the tractor-trailer and a few other vehicles.

Only the left lane is open; the right lane is blocked.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly blames the fuel spill for one of two lanes still being closed after more than two hours.

He says it looks like the fuel tank was punctured, and authorities are putting sand bags down to contain the fuel spill.

He says to watch for delays if you're heading in from Mercer County and that part of Bucks County.
