Trump to hold rally in NJ to help Christie pay campaign debt

Donald Trump is going to hold a rally in New Jersey to help Gov. Chris Christie pay off the debt he incurred running for president.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee's fundraising rally will take place Thursday at the National Guard Armory in Lawrenceville.

Christie endorsed Trump after the governor suspended his campaign for president and Trump has named Christie to head the transition team if Trump is elected in November.

Protesters plan to be outside the fundraiser.

The New Jersey Citizen Action group is organizing a rally across from the armory.
