Two arrested after police find handgun, marijuana during traffic stop

Police have arrested a man and a woman after they found a handgun and marijuana in the pair's vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police pulled over the suspect's vehicle shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday, after they witnessed a car driven by Jamal Pinchback commit dangerous traffic violations.

It was later found that Pinchback did not posses a valid drivers license. Police arrested Pinchback and the passenger, Brooke Roberts, after they allegedly found marijuana on the floor of the car.

Police say a additional marijuana and a loaded handgun were found during a search of the car.

Pinchback and Roberts were charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of hollow-point ammunition.
