Two men in custody after armed robbery in Galloway, NJ

Police have arrested two men who were reportedly involved in an armed robbery.

The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Monday when two men robbed an 18-year-old victim by gunpoint and knifepoint on the 600 block of Jupiter Hills Lane in Galloway, NJ.

Officials were able to identify two suspects, 36-year-old John Andriotis and 21-year-old Tyrell Gist.

Police surrounded the suspect's residence, and after a standoff lasting a few hours, the suspects peacefully surrendered to police.

Investigators also recovered additional evidence from the suspect's residence that related to the robbery.

Both Andriotis and Gist were charged with numerous offenses including robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and other related charges.

The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are pending.
