Two men sought after shooting in Nicetown

Philadelphia police are seeking two men in connection with a shooting in Nicetown.

Police say two men approached the Golden City Chinese Take Out on the 4100 block of North Broad Street Friday, February 23 just before 7:30 p.m.

A 16-year-old male was inside the restaurant when the two men, one in possession of a handgun approached, according to police. The man with the handgun allegedly fired the gun one time in the direction of the 16-year-old, striking him in the arm.

The victim was transported to Temple Hospital. He was treated for a gunshot wound and released.

The two suspects took off running, police say. They were last seen heading north on Broad Street, then west on Hunting Park Avenue.

Both men are described as being in their late teens to early twenties. Police ask anyone with information to contact local law enforcement or call 911.
