Two Shot, Three Arrested in Frankford After Argument

Philadelphia Police say an argument over a cell phone led to a double shooting in the city's Frankford neighborhood Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. on the 5300 block of Charles Street.

According to police, two 18-year-old men were grazed in the head and neck by gunfire. They are expected to be okay.

Witnesses say the victims were sitting on the front porch of one of their homes when an argument with three other men over a cell phone turned physical.

Police say a suspect then drew a shotgun, firing at least two shots, and fleeing with the two other suspects.

Officers later arrested three men fitting the description of the shooters who fit the description of the gunmen, a few blocks away from the scene. Police have not yet identified which of the suspects opened fire.
