VIDEO: Philly Police seek homicide suspect in cold case

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a homicide suspect.

Around 7:30 p.m. on September 13, 2016, officers responded to a report of a Person with a Gun on the 5800 block of Hoffman Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later.

Several surveillance cameras in the area caught images of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early- to mid-20s with a thin build, medium complexion and wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, dark colored jeans and tan work boots.
