Former Villanova University basketball players, staff and the current men's team paid respects to former Nova men's basketball coach Rollie Massimino . A legend in his own time and beyond.

Chuck Everson, a center on the 85 team that Coach Massimino took to the National Championship, says the coaching went well beyond the court.

"Told you how to do things the right way, told you about family, about loyalty, about respect, about how to handle adversity. How the true character of a person comes out during difficult times."

"Coach Mass and his 85 guys are magical around here still," Jay Wright said.

So much so that current head coach Jay Wright says having Coach Mass witness their 2016 National Championship win over UNC meant the world.

"When he showed up in Houston, I think we all felt like we had a little magic with us you know," Wright said.
