Viewing to be held for local sailor killed in training accident

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (WTXF) - Services will begin Thursday for a Bucks County sailor who died in a training accident overseas last weekend.

A viewing will be held for U.S. Navy Ensign Sarah Mitchell Thursday after he remains arrived at Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday.

Mitchell is from Feasterville and graduated from Neshaminy High School.

The U.S. Navy says the 23-year-old was injured in a small boat training accident in the Red Sea last Sunday. She passed away at a hospital in Jordan.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday.
