Warm weather in Delaware Valley draws many out of winter cocoon

Winter is old news and spring is finally here. People soaked up the gorgeous weather over the weekend.

They're soaking up every last drop outside along Haddonfield's main drag Sunday.

Lexi Levin and Emily Steele of Cherry Hill just hopped in the car and wound up in Haddonfield.

"We didn't know what to do and we didn't want to waste this beautiful Sunday, so we came to Haddonfield to walk around," said Levin.

"Beautiful Sunday. Coffee keeps me awake. I played tennis this morning. That was really fun," added Steele.

Any reason for Frank Grozier to break out the t-shirt and shorts and hop on the bike.

"Just gonna go to CVS and get some candy," Grozier said.

How about a meal?

"On my way to Town and Country to have a three-course dinner on a beautiful, lovely evening," Carolyn Moore said.

"We had a fabulous bike ride and enjoying everything downtown has to offer," Tina said.

"We won both lacrosse games against Cinnaminson and Haddon Heights!" exclaimed Lucy Cheatham.
"Now it's time to celebrate?" asked FOX 29's Joyce Evans.
"Yeah!" Cheatham replied.

Not all the action was outdoors.

"We're like the ambassadors of the store," Alex Senior said.

Joeys Unique Boutique reaping the benefits of all the foot traffic on the street.

"Weather's warm, the door open and people have been shopping up a storm this weekend," said owner Dana Diantonio.
