WATCH: High school senior with cerebral palsy scores touchdown

Atlee High School senior Sepp Shirley scored a touchdown with the help of both his teammates and opponents in the dying moments of the Atlee Raiders' 63-21 loss to the Varina Blue Devils on Friday, October 27.

Shirley, who was born with cerebral palsy, was afforded the opportunity to score a touchdown when Raiders head coach Matt Gray asked officials and the Blue Devils coaches to allow Shirley to take part in the game.

The original plan was to allow Shirley to run a couple of steps with the ball, but Shirley defied all odds and ran 80 yards surrounded by players from both teams, collapsing as he crossed the line.
