WATCH: Man wanted for pulling gun on store clerk

SUMMERDALE (WTXF) - A man went into a grocery store and chose a drink from the refrigerator.

That was Monday evening in Summerdale.

Now, police have released surveillance video from the Abreu Mini Market in the 900 block of Sanger Street.

It shows the man placing the item on the counter. The employee was working behind a plastic partition.

Then, you see the man pulling out a handgun and demanding money, threatening the employee by asking, "Do you want to die?"

That employee threw money on the floor, which the robber picked up and ran out through the front door. He was last seen heading south on Frontenac Street.

The suspect is described as 5'6" tall with a medium build, and dark complexion. He had a beard and was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, red or maroon shirt, blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black shoes, and he was armed with that handgun.
