WATCH: Train Rips Car in Half; Passengers Miraculously Survive

(FOX NEWS INSIDER) - An Amtrak train in Florida yesterday ripped a car in half, yet all three passengers inside the vehicle miraculously survived.

Dramatic surveillance video shows the moment that the train plowed into a car that was crossing the tracks, splitting it in half.

The 21-year-old driver was not injured, but his pregnant girlfriend was ejected from the car and cracked her vertebra. The driver's cousin also suffered injuries that are not life-threatening.

The father of the driver told the Florida Times-Union that the outcome of the accident was "a God-sent miracle."

The driver was given a $300 ticket for crossing the railroad tracks when the gates were down.
