Wawa's bathrooms voted number 1 in Pa. and number 2 in country

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Wawa has added another feather in its cap. It ranks as number one in Pennsylvania for when you have to go number one or number two.

We know you go there for your coffee, soda and smokes, but bathrooms? If you gotta go--be lucky if there's a Wawa nearby.

In a Gasbuddy.com nationwide survey of clean convenience store bathrooms, Wawa ranks second in the country and first in states along the east coast, including Pennsylvania

On Wednesday, FOX 29's Chris O'Connell went on our own tidy toilet tour. His duty took us from the thrones of King of Prussia to the commodes of Ardmore and Narberth.

The real test came on Broad and Walnut Streets.

"I'm in the Wawa bathroom in Center City where I got to say it's not that bad," O'Connell said.

The only problem we found-- no seat covers-- bummer. The rest of the bathroom was sparkling just don't forget to wash your hands.

Wawa says they are always looking to simplify their customers' lives and provide the best possible experience.
