Wife of Slain Police Officer Shares Emotional Post on Facebook

(STORYFUL) - Elizabeth Snyder, the widow of St. Louis police officer, Blake Snyder, who was killed in the line of duty on October 6, shared a photo of herself and her son, Malachi, on Facebook on October 15, and thanked people for their support since her husband's death.

In her post, Snyder said her pain is still "unbearable and unending. But this child here- he has been the hope in my heartache. He is the reason I get up each day. The reason I keep it together as best I can. The reason I push through."

The photo has received almost 100,000 likes and shares since it was uploaded.
