Woman sought in coffee shop aggravated assault

Detectives in Southwest Center City are looking for a suspect involved in an aggravated assault earlier this month.

The incident occurred at the Dunkin Donuts on the 1500 block of Washington Avenue back on February 12, 2016.

Police say an unknown woman placed an order at the counter, and became dissatisfied with the service. Surveillance video shows her begin knocking over items on the counter.

The suspect then picked up a ceramic mug used for tips, and threw it at the manager, striking her in the hand.

The manager sustained a cut on her left wrist.

Witnesses say the suspect fled in a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus.

The suspect has been described as a 20-year-old black female standing 5'4", with a thin build and light complexion.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
