Woman Walks Away After Being Hit by Her Own Car

(STORYFUL) A woman in Burlington, Washington, was lucky to be up and walking just seconds after she was run over by her own car.

While stopped at a red light, another motorist alerted the unidentified woman that her gas cap was open. The woman stepped out of her car to go and fix it, but quickly realized she had not put the car in park.

The car began rolling forward as the woman tried to grab the wheel and attempted to get back in the car.

The momentum of the car caused her to swing onto the ground with her legs sliding underneath the car, as the car continued to roll forward.

Her leg was run over by the out of control car, as it continued through the intersection, just missing passing cars.

Despite the impact, the woman gets up on her feet and walks away from the scene.
