Woman wanted for using fraud to buy 2 cars in 4 days

Police in South Jersey are looking for a woman they say "participated in two offenses of identity theft and motor vehicle theft" at the same place, four days apart.

Westampton Township police say it happened on both July 7 and July 10 at the J&S Autohaus, in the 1800 block of Route 541.

Both times, the woman and a man "later identified as Arthur McCoy presented two fraudulent Pennsylvania driver's licenses that associated the suspects' photographs" with driver's license numbers and personal information from two Pennsylvania victims of identity theft.

Police say on July 7, the suspects gave a victim's social security number and other information to get a line of credit for a 2014 blue Audi A7 3.0 Prestige sedan valued at $43,612.20.

On July 10, the suspects returned and presented the same fraudulent credentials to finance a 2014 white Audi Q7 SUV valued at $38,785.20.

Westampton Township police ask that anyone who can identify the woman call its Criminal Intelligence Division at 609-267-3000, ext. 144.
