Anderson hits HR, gets 1st win as Rockies beat Phillies 8-3

Tyler Anderson homered and earned his first big league win as the Colorado Rockies beat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-3 Saturday night.

Anderson (1-3) allowed two runs in six innings and struck out six. He singled for his first big league hit and homered for his second.

Tony Wolters hit his first career triple, driving in three runs in Colorado's six-run sixth that gave it an 8-2 lead.

Jordan Lyles allowed one run in three innings for his second career save.

Jerad Eickhoff (6-10) was rolling before Anderson hit a two-run shot inside the right foul pole in the fifth to tie the score at 2-2. It was the first home run by a Rockies pitcher since Kyle Kendrick on September 7, 2015, at San Diego.

Tommy Joseph had his first four-hit game for Philadelphia.
