Colin Kaepernick named 49ers' Week 6 starter

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been named the starter for the San Francisco 49ers in their Week 6 game against the Buffalo Bills.

Head Coach Chip Kelly announced the team's decision to start the headline grabbing quarterback on Tuesday.

Kaepernick's start comes after several tough games under former starter Blaine Gabbert, and following several weeks of controversy surrounding Kaepernick.

Kaepernick first made headlines back in Week 3 of the preseason, when fans noticed the QB was not standing for the National Anthem. He has continued to kneel during the robbery ever since.
