Eagles Give Zach Ertz Extension

The Eagles Monday announced the first big player-personnel move of the post-Chip Kelly era, handing a contract extension to tight end Zach Ertz.

According to a team announcement, Ertz has agreed to extend his contract by five years, through 2021. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed; Ertz had been playing under the rookie contract that he signed after the team drafted him in 2012.
