NFL will donate proceeds from ‘underdog' shirt sales to Philadelphia School District

The NFL is donating 100% of the proceeds from 'underdog' shirt sales to the Philadelphia School District.

The news comes after Eagles defensive end Chris Long and All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson called on the NFL to donate to charity after they announced they were selling t-shirts.

Following the Eagles Divisional Round win over the Atlanta Falcons, Long and All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson put on rubber German Shepherd masks to mock the Eagles standing as underdogs going into their home game against Atlanta.

Their masks immediately struck a chord with the Philadelphia fan base, and similar masks quickly sold out online.

Several t-shirts with illustrations of the mask or Eagles players wearing masks quickly went on sale from various sellers, including Lane Johnson himself.

Johnson's version of the shirt featured illustrations of himself and long wearing the masks with the words "Home Dogs Gonna Eat."

The shirts were put up for sale on Johnson's website, and Johnson pledged all the proceeds from the shirts would go to the Philadelphia School District.

The shirts are selling for $27.99 on the NFL Shop website with an option for free shipping.

Johnson's shirts sold for just $19.
