Eagles to Interview Shurmur

With the Eagles' season at an end, the team's search for a coach to succeed Chip Kelly is in full swing. The team confirmed Monday that they will interview Pat Shurmur for the job Monday afternoon.

Shurmur, the team's offensive coordinator for the past three seasons, served as interim head coach in Sunday's victory over the Giants. Fox 29's Howard Eskin reported over the weekend that former Eagles player and current running backs coach Duce Staley interviewed for the head job last week.

In their search, the Eagles have been linked to such names as Doug Pederson, Sean Payton, Adam Gase, Ben McAdoo and Teryl Austin, although none are confirmed for interviews.
