Report: Darren Sproles aggravates hamstring injury, expected to sit Sunday

Eagles running back Darren Sproles will likely remain sidelined with a hamstring injury this weekend after re-aggravating his hamstring in practice this week, according to reports.

ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news on Twitter Thursday morning, saying the team had expected him to play Sunday against the Giants before re-injuring his leg.

Sproles, 35, missed most of last season after tearing his ACL. The veteran back has been with the Eagles since 2014 and has been an integral part of the Eagles running and passing game.

Schefter reports Sproles was highly disappointed by the news.
