Randall Cunningham's daughter Vashti qualifies for Olympics

Vashti Cunningham, the daughter of former NFL star quarterback Randall Cunningham, qualified for the Rio Olympics on Sunday.

She finished second to Chaunte Lowe in the women's high jump at the U.S. Track and Field trials. Lowe cleared 2.01 meters (6 feet, 7 inches), enough to edge Cunningham's jump of 1.97 by 1-1/2 inches.

Lowe is on the way to her fourth Olympics, seeking the medal that has always eluded her there. Stoked by her performance, and the others she saw on this breezy, sunshine-filled day in Eugene, she was thinking bigger.

"It felt so easy," Lowe said. "I think I'll be ready. Just keep training, fine-tuning. I think we could see a sweep of the podium."

Randall Cunningham played ten years for the Eagles.
