Chilly temps to hang around after the wind, rain down wires and trees

Monday got the week off to a rainy start, as the end of a system that impacted the area Sunday begins to make its way out of the area.

The wet and windy weather left some damage behind, knocking out power to a few thousand people across multiple counties. Downed wires and trees also impacted the morning commute, even causing delays on SEPTA Regional Rail lines.

As that rain moves on, it will leave behind some high winds and chilly, but seasonal temperatures.

Monday's high temperature will only reach about 56 degrees with Tuesday following with a high of just 58 degrees.

The good news for trick or treaters Tuesday is that the rain will be out of the area and skies will be clear Tuesday night.

Things won't start to warm back up until we see some highs in the 70s beginning on Thursday.

Monday: Morning rain, high of 56

Tuesday: High of 58, spooky Halloween sunshine!

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high of 56

Thursday: Much Milder, high of 70
