Cold Thanksgiving day and bundle up for Black Friday

Thanksgiving is finally here, and it's brought a taste of winter with it! Thursday has a chance to be the coldest Thanksgiving Day in over a Century.

According to the National Weather Service, the coldest turkey day on record for the City of Brotherly Love was in 1901 when it was just 27 degrees.

FOX 29's Mike Masco is forecasting a high of just 29 degrees Thursday, leaving most parts of the region hovering around that record.

The shot of Arctic air should be leaving as fast as it moved in, with the cold front expected to start shifting Saturday. By Sunday, we should see temperatures back in the 50s!
