Severe Thunderstorms watches issued for several counties

Severe Thunderstorm watches have been issued for a number of local counties as scattered storms begin popping up all over the radar Friday.

The most of the watches will remain in effect until 10:00 p.m. Friday evening. Incoming showers have the potential to become severe storms with high winds and possibly hail.

Most of the systems also appear to be isolated.

The good news is, according to FOX 29's Scott Williams, tonight's storms should be the last we see of rain this holiday weekend, until as late as Monday night.
