Weather Authority: Cloudy Wednesday with afternoon storms

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a mostly cloudy Wednesday, with isolated thunderstorms developing this afternoon. A few storms may be severe.

Temperatures will top out at 83 degrees Wednesday before falling back down to the low 70s and upper 60s for the remainder of the week.

The rain is expected to stick around through the end of the week. Sunshine should return to the forecast by this weekend.
