PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a wet weekend with cool temperatures in the wake of this week's oppressive heat.
A Flood Watch is in effect from through late Monday evening in the following counties:
- Pennsylvania: Berks, Carbon, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lehigh, Lower Bucks, Monroe, Northampton, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery
- New Jersey: Atlantic, Camden, Coastal Ocean, Cumberland, Eastern Monmouth, Glocester, unterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Norris, Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Southeastern Burlington, Sussex, Warren and Western Monmouth
- Delaware: New Castle
Temperatures will remain in the low 60s Sunday, but will pick back up to the upper-70s by Monday. One to three additional inches of rain are expected by Monday afternoon.
Rain is expected to remain in the forecast through Thursday.
