Weather Authority: Heat Advisory Tuesday; hot and humid

Residents are slated for a hot and humid Tuesday as a heat wave settles across the region.

A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. through 7 p.m. in the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Burlington, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Gloucester, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, New Castle, Northampton, Ocean and Philadelphia.

Not much rain is expected in the beginning of the week, though stray showers or thunderstorms are possible Wednesday.

Temperatures will cool down by Friday, much like last week. Until then, residents can expect more of the same: temperatures in the 90s with 'real feel' temperatures in the triple digits.

By Saturday, temperatures will experience a notable dip with a high of 70 degrees.
