PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a warm, muggy and stormy Tuesday.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 11 a.m. through Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, as well as the following counties: Delaware, southern Montgomery, southern Bucks, Mercer, northern Burlington, Camden and Gloucester.
Storms may produce 1-2" or more of rain over a short period of time, posing the risk of fast-rising water in poor drainage areas and on roads. Residents are urged to avoid driving or walking through flood waters.
Low humidity and sunny skies are expected for the remainder of the week.
