Weather Authority: Severe storms and flash flooding

Severe storms and flash flooding are expected to affect multiple counties in our region Saturday through Sunday.

Storms producing torrential downpours are currently moving into Philadelphia with wind gusts up to 60 mph through 2:30 p.m.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the following counties through late Saturday:

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for South central Atlantic County and Northeastern Cape May County in New Jersey through early Saturday evening.

Mostly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast for Sunday.
