Weather Authority: Snowy, rainy weekend to follow mild Friday

A mild Friday will be followed by a bit of an unsettled weekend of winter weather as temperatures head back towards freezing.

Friday will be cloudy and mild with a high of 58 degrees and a chance of a few showers through the day.

Saturday, parts of our area will need to keep their eye on a southern storm that could bring some light snow to southern parts of Delaware and New Jersey.

Sunday will likely bring more snow and rain to our area in the late afternoon, when we'll be looking at a high of 40 degrees.

After the weekend, we'll be turning our attention to a warm front that could bring snow and rain to the area Wednesday into Thursday.
