Evacuations order lifted after overturned truck causes 'hazardous situation' in Bucks County

Authorities say residents can safely return to their homes after an overturned propane tanker truck caused a "hazardous situation" Monday in Bucks County.

Emergency crews were called to Ferry and Old Iron roads around 11 a.m. and advised residents living 2,000-feet around the crash to evacuate.

Several roads were closed and residents were told to avoid the area while emergency crews worked into the evening to clean-up.

The evacuation order was lifted just after 6 p.m. and residents, but some road closures remained in place.
