Eddie Kahdim joined the FOX 29 News team in November 2021 as a general assignment reporter.
Eddie has been telling stories across the country for more than a decade. He became a journalist to help people and give a voice to those who feel they are not being heard. Prior to joining FOX 29, he was a reporter at WMAR-TV in Baltimore, MD, for more than four years. He helped tell the stories of people trying to make a difference in the community.
He began his TV career as a teleprompter operator in Albany, NY, where he attended St. Rose College. He went on to become a photographer there. His first on-air job was covering the nation’s Heartland as a reporter and weekend anchor at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, MO. He then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he was on the front lines reporting for WPDE-TV 15, on the massive power and devastating destruction of several hurricanes.
He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, three-legged dog, geckos, and pet fish.
